Development of a microscopic two-photon two-color system for in vivo imaging of small animals

Duration of the contract: 12 months (from January 2012 to December 2012)

Call for a research grant of €27,177.00 and 12 months in biological microscopy for PhDs at LENS laboratory.

It is a competition based on qualifications and interview for a research grant called "Development of a microscopic two-photon two-color system for in vivo imaging of small animals" to be performed at LENS, Via Nello Carrara, 1 - Sesto Fiorentino (Florence), for a period of 12 months (from January 1st, 2012) and a gross amount of 25,177.00 euros provided with a monthly payment. The grant can be renewed for up to four years.

Requirements: PhD in Physics or in matters relating to the research subject, Master's Degree (laurea magistrale o specialistica in Italian), almost three years post-doc experience in microscopy, good knowledge of English.

Filled application form should be sent to the Director of the Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico at Ufficio Ricerca e Relazioni Internazionali, Viale delle Idee, 26 50019 Sesto Fiorentino (FI) by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt by the day November 15th, 2011, under penalty of exclusion from the selection. Application forms can be also delivered directly to the Ufficio Ricerca e Relazioni Internazionali of Polo Scientifico e Tecnologico. Expiration date for the delivery is November 15th, 2011 at 12:30am.

The interview date is set to 5:30pm of December 2nd, 2011 at European Laboratory for Non-linear Spectroscopy, Via Nello Carrara, 1 - Sesto Fiorentino (Florence).
