Workshop at Galileo Galilei Institute in Arcetri

Many-body localization, gauge fields for ultracold atoms and two-dimensional integrable lattice models at IGG in Arcetri.

The Galileo Galilei Institute for Theoretical Physics (GGI) organizes and hosts small-size advanced workshops in theoretical particle physics in its broadest sense. Each workshop is devoted to a specific topic at the forefront of current research. The purpose of each workshop is to foster discussions, confrontation of ideas, and collaborations among participants.

  • Wednesday 11/4 - Ehud Altman, "Real space RG for dynamics of random spin chains and many-body localization"
  • Thursday 12/4 - Nigel Cooper, "Synthetic Gauge Fields for Ultracold Atoms"
  • Friday 13/4 - Jesper Jacobsen, "Exact corner free energies for two-dimensional integrable lattice models"

All seminars will begin at 11:30am and will be hosted by room B of the Galileo Galilei Institute for Theoretical Physics.
