Thermodynamics of strongly interacting Bose gases
Experimental determination of the equation of state of homogeneous quantum gases beyond mean-field corrections.
The developement of new thermodynamic schemes has made possible the accurate experimental determination of the equation of state of homogeneous quantum gases. After demonstrating this technique to strongly interacting fermions in the BEC-BCS crossover, we have recently extended it to bosons. We were able to observe the Lee-Huang-Yang beyond mean-field corrections to the zero-temperature equation of state and at high temperature we were able to stabilize a unitary Bose gas.
