LENS participates in the ARTES4.0 Competence Center and offers training and guidance services to companies for the implementation of innovation projects thanks to Industry4.0 enabling technologies. ARTES 4.0 has a network structure made up of Macronodi and Nodi. The network has a central coordination at the HUB of Pontedera, main office of CC ARTES 4.0 headed by Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Macronodo ARTES4.0@SSSA), which coordinates 13 Macronodi. Each Macronodo is characterized by specific enabling issues of Industry 4.0 and consists of one or more Nodes that offer services to companies, with Test Before Invest demonstration platforms (Innovation & Demonstration Node - IDN); IDNs are supported by orientation nodes (Awareness Node - AWN), by training nodes (Training Node - TNN), and by nodes with transversal specialization in the areas of economics and management (Business Development Node - BDN).
